Kniss Re-Election Supported

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in October, friends, supporters, and volunteers joined at the home of Jim and Emy Thurber to enjoy great conversation, and a tasty Oktoberfest meal prepared by Firefighters of Santa Clara County. The occasion was a celebration of Kniss's re-election campaign for County Board of Supervisors, Fifth District. Testimonials by Assessor Larry Stone, Los Altos Mayor Pro Tem Curtis Cole, and hosts Jim and Emy Thurber highlighted Liz's leadership, advocacy for her Disrtict, and the many partnerships with the community she has worked to achieve.

As Kathy, one of the volunteers commented, "I just think Liz cares a great deal about the community and she also has a great background from which to make sound policy and fiscal decisions." Kniss has experience in healthcare, business, and extensive involvement in her community. Joined with her experience as an elected School Board Trustee, City Council member and Mayor, and most recently County Supervisor, Kniss has the heart and mind to represent District Five.
